There are two types of free stock offers found on this site: Free Stock Offers and Free Stock Contests. Most free stock offers on this site are absolutely free, some free stock offers require that you purchase some stock and they will give you free shares, others require that you pay for postage and handling. Free stock contests are just that, the company is giving away a specific number of shares to a specific number of people determined by a drawing.
After researching these free stock offerings I find them to be legitimate. The following is some information concerning the giveaway of free stocks.
Companies give away free stock, in order to, attract attention to themselves. They need to establish a user base or the site just won't be popular. The stocks that are being given away have the future possibility of being worth as much as any other internet stock. The company's stock will only become valuable if the company begins trading publicly on the stock exchange. The current trend in the Internet stocks is that once a company goes public their stock quickly increases in value. There is absolutely no risk involved in obtaining these free shares of stock. However, you should reference their legal information before you sign up, it's available at each site.
Earn Money
There are various ways of making money on the Internet for anyone who is willing to spend a little bit of time. These offers are ways of earning money or points for consumer items for using browsers, running banner programs, and reading e-mail. These "get paid to surf" internet companies build a large audience base and keep their attention by paying them a specific amount money per hour for viewing displayed ads. The money paid to you comes from the revenue that is generated from banner advertising. These companies not only pay you, but they pay your direct and indirect referrals. Get Paid for reading E-mailMaking money reading emails is an excellent way to get paid from doing something you already do, reading e-mail. The basic concept behind these offers is internet companies solicits your registration to build a large membership base. Once these companies develop a large membership they offer a gaint advertising population to interested advertisers. There is a large fee associated with this email advertising, so as an incentive for net-surfers to sign up they offer to pay them a percentage of the money earned from advertisers. Each company offers a slightly different payment plan, but they all produce good revenues for everyone who takes advantage of their referral program. The referral programs typically work in the following manner: Refer a friend, family member, co-worker, etc. and receive a portion of the money they earn by reading emails; for each person referred by direct referrals you receive a portion of their earnings, only smaller; this referral structure then extends anywhere from 3 to 5 levels down.

That means they pay a particular fraction of your referral persons revenues. What is E-mail Spamming
Spam is similar to having junk mail sent to you through your own mailbox, or when you get people calling on the phone who you did not request information from. Email spamming is also against the law.
It is acceptable to send an email to a friend or someone you know. If however, they request that you to stop sending them email you must do so immediately. If they have asked you to stop sending them email and you continue to do so, this is considered spamming. You must not send anyone email who you do not know, unless they have requested that you send them information.What is Newsgroup Spamming
Newsgroups are discussion areas on servers where people from all over the world talk about a particular subject. To participate within the Newsgroup you are required to stay on topic. If you use newsgroups to gain referrals, this is allowed only if you are on topic. It would be considered spamming if you posted a message off topic. For example, you may post a reward offer to the following newsgroup, alt.make.money, because the offer relates to a way of making money. On the other hand, you may not post a message concerning a reward offer to the following newsgroup, alt.3dfx.drivers, since the message does not apply to the the subject in that area. If you post a message off topic your ISP or the company that hosts your web site may contact you advising you that a complaint has been made.
For newsgroup postings the rules are not that clear. You may post to those newsgroups that have similar content pertaining to the reward offer you are registered for, i.e. alt.make.money and other such groups. The way that SPAM is defined, depends on the reward offer terms of use, as well as usenets own terms and conditions. The usenet considers the message content that promotes the same information. If you cross post to many newsgroups, i.e. more than 20 posts of the same content to any group over 50 days this will be treated by usenet as SPAM.
The Usenet owns almost all newsgroups around, they police these groups. Everytime you send a post, the fingerprint of each person is recorded, as well as any key links, and they also read the content of adds.

Cheating
Cheating can be defined in a variety of ways. I will define the basics of why you are not allowed to cheat and what happens if you do cheat. Cheating is obtaining something, either money or prizes, that you would not normally obtain if you followed the rules established by a particular company. The penalty for cheating is as follows: your account is terminated; you may be required to pay back all money paid to you in the past; and legal action may be taken by the company involved. Cheaters can be detected by companies, who employ devices that track activity; they track abnormal surfing activity. Cheating is an activity that harms everyone. Advertisers pay for advertising space / time with the expectation that people will view their advertisement. If cheating occurs these advertisers will no loner advertise with a paid to surf company. The paid to surf company no longer makes money and the end user, therefore, doesn't get paid. Everyone loses.
